Episode 14 - 'Lil Bug' with Rochelle Riser
Hi everybody, March is finally over and hoo boy, it’s been a doozy of a month for Nashville, for our country, and the world at large. This episode was recorded back in February before the tornado in Nashville and before the large scale quarantining and self-isolating in America, so we were blissfully ignorant of what the next month would hold for us. On that subject, since the next few weeks / potentially months are uncertain, we will be approaching the next few episodes differently. So you might hear a few more solo episodes, or we might attempt recording with a guest remotely again-- we’ll be playing it by ear, BUT no matter what there will be new episodes.
This month’s guest is another friend of mine from college, Rochelle Riser. Rochelle is a singer and songwriter here in Nashville, TN. She is a lovely human with a beautiful voice and a delightful personality, as you will soon hear. Rochelle plays the guitar (very well I might add), which means this is the first episode on this show that you will hear with a guitar! We end up writing a delightful little folk/americana song about leaving your small town that sounds fit for a Pixar movie. Call us Pixar!
